Opened in 1912, the Hotel is ideally located in the center of St. Petersburg, close to St. Isaac’s Cathedral and within 10 minutes’ walk from the Hermitage. Style of room decoration and furniture is simple and elegant, characteristic for Rocco Forte Hotels. Second stage in the Hotel’s reconstruction was recently completed. Rooms and halls have been restored and the new Russian restaurant has been opened. Regaining its status of the best five-star hotel in St. Petersburg, Astoria has joined the Leading World Hotels Association.
 

The Hotel Astoria has a great variety of rooms of different class. All the rooms in the Astoria offer only the highest standards in accommodation. Every room is individually designed and elegantly furnished. There are all modern facilities including air-conditioning systems, mini-bars, direct dial telephone, private safes, satellite and cable TV, pay-as-you-see television and much more. You can experience a truly Russian taste in the Davidoff's Restaurant located on the ground floor. This fashionable restaurant, overlooking St. Isaac's Square, serves only the best Russian cuisine and provides you with a good assortment of wines. The restaurant can be proud of its Caviar and Vodka Bar. The so called Russian Table is served here every weekend. It will provide you with snacks, desserts, salads, pickles, pelmeni (Russian ravioli) and other dishes. Interiors of the Davidoff's Restaurant retained features of the historical decor since 1912. David Collins has just recently vivified them with modern characters.
 

The Rotonda is a magnificent, elegant bar-restaurant located off the main lobby. The bar, opened after refurbishment in 2001, offers the highest standards of services. You will be offered a vast range of cocktails, snacks, strong and soft drinks. Light starters are also served. The Lobby Lounge is located in the very heart of the Astoria. It offers tasty light meals, continental breakfast, and afternoon tea. It is open every day till the last song of the residential jazz singer.
