and canals. From the eighteenth floor of Sovetskaya hotel you can enjoy a
wonderful view over the gold cupolas of St.-Isaak's
Cathedral, white and blue mass of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the elegant
St. Nicholas Cathedral, Matiinsky Theatre. The hotel was built in 1967 on the
bank of Fontanka embankment and was the first high construction in
Saint-Petersburg.
It takes 10 minutes to get to the "Baltiskaya"
and "Technologichesky Institute" metro stations. You can easily reach
the famous suburbs of St-Petersburg: Peterhof,
Gatchina, Oranienbaum, because Baltiisky and Varshavsky railway
stations are not far from the hotel.
