IDER RIVER IN MONGOLIA
riginated in Khangai Nuruu, Zavhan aimag (Turvagatai uul National Park),
in the south part of Ider city. It passes Zavhan, Хувсгул аймак and 50 км south of Moron, on the border with the Архангай аймак
, the Ider, Bugsei, Chuluut, Delger Moron rivers converge and emptying into the Selenge river.
The Ider river has more than ten tributaries. Ider river rises on the northen
slope of Duruu Khairkhan of the Khangai Mountain Range and joins the
Delger river. The basin of the Ider river has an area of 42 800 square kilometers.
There is a well-known spring, Salbart.
