Scientific museum of Far East State University (DVGU)
The state University to inhabitants and visitors Vladivostok, made in 100-years anniversary of university.
- Zoological museum the basis in 1957, totals more than
30 thousand exhibits. Here it is placed about 3000 animals, 800 bowls of mollusks,
500 insects, 450 birds and mammal, more than 300 fishes.
The botanical collection borrows the small area, but contains interesting exhibits. The basis of a collection is made with Far East kinds.
- The museum of the rare book is unique on the Far East. Represents book monuments of culture in Russian and foreign languages, periodicals. In a museum about 15 000 units of storage.
- The museum of archeology and ethnography reflects historical development of territory of
Primorsky Krai from a paleolith up to the present. In funds of a museum about 300 thousand subjects.
