MONGOLIAN INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP MARATHON

The organizers of this event Juulchin 'Tourism Corporation of Mongolia, and the Korea - Mongolia Cultural Interchange Center have decided to make this international marathon an annual event, to be hosted on the 1st Sunday in June each year. The inaugural event took place in Undurdov in 2003, but owing to the exceptional beauty and excellent facilities of the Terelj National Park, the event has moved to this picturesque valley, 55 km East of Ulaanbaatar. The second Mongolian International Friendship Marathon welcomes participants from all over the world to compete in it is three different categories: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km half‑marathon.

INTERNATIONAL ULTRA MARATHON “Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset”

For the 6th time hikers and runners will meet on the shores of a remote and
pristine lake in northern Mongolia to take part in Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset
(MS2S) a 42km and 100km trail run. Offering a challenge to hike or run a
breath taking course in one of the world's most pristine and remote National
Parks, MS2S also offers the chance to explore Mongolia's unique nature and
culture.
It is an outstanding event ‑ not to be missed. Accommodation is in
minimum 3 star hotels in Ulaanbaatar and in a 'ger camp' in Hovsgol National
Park. The ger camp is a rustic and comfortable facility that provides guests
the novelty of traditional Mongolian style living with environmentally
friendly 'western' com including hot showers and solar electricity Mongolia
Sunrise to Sunset is much more than a race, it is a lifetime experience.

DOG SLED TRIP (Ulaanbaatar )
The first accounts relating the mode of transportation by sleds pulled by dogs, in polar regions, is on 1763. In Mongolia this type of transportation has been recently introduced with a view to give opportunities adventures to experience magnificent winter landscape that is unreachable by vehicles. Specially trained Alaskan dogs will take to some of the most memorable parts of the country through several different types of tour programs available.
